If you’ve been following my blog, it’s no surprise that I love and adore Shannon Stacey the author and the person. I’m proud to call her friend and it’s been a pleasure watching her grow into the author she is and I know only better things are going to come for her. It’s also no surprise that I love the Kowalski’s–her latest series for Carina Press and one that HQN picked up. So, if you’re not into ebooks, you will be able to purchase the paper backs at the first of the new year.
When I finished reading Undeniably Yours, I was very sad and jumped on the twitter bandwagon suggesting she find another Kowalski to write about. She started Sean’s story and he has four more siblings! I don’t know if Shannon’s writing all four, but I for one cannot get enough of this family!
And how about this cover? *swoons* Speaking of, if you click on the cover, it’ll take you to Shannon’s website where you can find different places to purchase this book.

Sean Kowalski no sooner leaves the army than he’s recruited by Emma Shaw to be her fake fiancé. Emma needs to produce a husband-to-be for her grandmother’s upcoming visit, and, though Sean doesn’t like the deception, he could use the landscaping job Emma’s offering while he decides what to do with his civilian life. And, despite his attraction to Emma, there’s no chance he’ll fall for a woman with deep roots in a town he’s not planning to call home.
Emma’s not interested in a real relationship either; not with a man whose idea of home is wherever he drops his duffel bag. No matter how amazing his “pretend” kisses are…

I honestly think that this was my favorite thus far. I saw where Shannon’s editor said this was her best book and I have to agree. I loved the banter, watching Sean and Emma unknowingly fall for each other and their families. I adored Emma’s grandma, Cat and her tiny story within. I loved revisiting the Kowalski family and their children. I giggled a lot, because knowing Sean–I’m married to a former Army guy–he needed a tough heroine. Emma is exactly the R&R that Sean needs. And vice versa. In other words, they don’t take each other’s shit.
I also loved the movie Sean and Emma watched with her grandmother Cat. I’m pretty sure it was based on Shan’s book “72 Hours”.
So, if you’re looking for a fun, flirty, feel-good read this summer, pick up Yours to Keep. However, grab those tissues, because you’re going to need them!
