That’s a great goal! I know as my kids get older, sometimes life is easier and then their problems are just as big as they are, but I’m learning to take a step back and let them figure it out for themselves. Am hoping I can quit the one job I have very soon. It’s getting harder and harder to do with less money and less sleep. Makes my days suck a lot.

Now that the oldest is a freshman in college and the youngest is in 2nd grade (and the ‘middlers’ are in 3rd and 4th)…I am looking forward to HAVING MORE FUN THIS YEAR – with just hubs and me….!!!!!

Dawn, I’m very sorry to hear that you’re too broken too continue service, but I know what you’re talking about, my aunt was pretty much where you are. She’s been writing full time–just plunged into it and hasn’t come up for air yet. As far as Nano, sadly, I’m not even coming close to my goal. I do this and it’s like setting myself up for failure. Maybe one day when the kids are older and out of the house and don’t have, Powder Puff football, a football banquet, a fall play and other things that require my attention…but I’m not sad about not finishing Nano.

I lost my space, but my hubby and brother-in-law were designing the space in my kitchen area and talking about my basement. So, right now, my desk is in my room, which is much warmer than where the freezer is now. So, I’m definitely going to look into space savers and decluttering my life. I save everything!

Well, my decision has been taken out of my hands. The Air Force is retiring me (too broken to continue service) so I’m heading to the writing full-time route. Absolutely scary! I’m rooting for you this NaNo! You can get past chapter four!!!

I will be struggling for space very soon. When I was deployed, I definitely had no space of my own, and it really made working from home hard. Is there anything in the basement that can be put up on a peg board to give you freezer room? Check out small space saver ideas. There are tons that might help so you don’t lose your space!
